8 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 cups finely shredded cabbage


Heat the vinegar and water, dissolve the sugar and cool, chill the cabbage and add seasoning, then pour over the liquid. Blend carefully using 2 forks. Serve at once. Add dash of paprika.
