1 pound halibut steak (sliced thin)
1 1/2 cups medium white sauce
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon minced parsley
1/2 cup grated American cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sliced onion
1/2 cup soft buttered crumbs


Add seasonings and cheese to hot white sauce and stir until cheese is melted. Melt butter in a saucepan or small skillet, add onion and cook and stir until yellow. Arrange fish on top, cover with sauce, then with crumbs. Bake in a 400-degree F. oven about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the fish is tender and the top is lightly browned.
