2 1/2 cups cooked seafood (lobster, crab, shrimps, scallops)
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon paprika
dash of red pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon onion seasoning
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup chopped cooked mushrooms or 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs


Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and seasonings and blend. Add milk and cook and stir until the resulting sauce is smooth and thickened. Add mushrooms or eggs and seafood and blend. Fill scallop shells (use 6 about 4 inches in diameter) or individual casseroles with mixture and top with buttered crumbs. Bake in a 375-degree F. oven about 20 minutes, or until the crumbs are lightly browned.
