8 ounces medium noodles
5 egg yolks
1/2 cup cream
5 tablespoons melted margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
5 egg whites

Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender, then drain. Beat egg yolks slightly, add cream, margarine and seasonings and blend. Add noodles and mix lightly. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry and fold into the first mixture. Pour into an 8 inch ring mold that has been thoroughly greased with softened, but not melted, butter. Fill mold to the top. Place in a shallow pan of hot water and bake in a 350-degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until firm. Unmold on hot platter and fill center with any creamed meat, fish, egg, or vegetable mixture.
