2 sticks margarine
cup cocoa
2 cup flour
2 cup sugar
teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts


Combine 1 stick margarine, cup cocoa and 1 cup water in saucepan. Bring to a boil, mixing well. Pour over mixture of flour, sugar and teaspoon salt in bowl. Add cup buttermilk, eggs, soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

Combine remaining 1 stick margarine with cup cocoa and 1/3 cup buttermilk in saucepan. Bring to a boil, blending well. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, mixing until creamy. Frost brownies immediately upon removing from oven. Cut into squares when cooled.
