2 cups chicken stock
3 cups celery, cut in small pieces
2 cups boiling water
1 slice onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1 cup cream
pepper (spice)
celery salt


After cooking celery in stock add water until soft, press through sieve. Scald onion in milk, then remove onion, add to mixture, flour mixed to paste with little milk, then cream and seasoning. Heat in double boiler, top with little whipped cream when serving.
