Soup Stock #2
Ingredients:
3 pounds shin of beef
3 quarts cold water
1 small onion
1 small carrot
1 small turnip
3 cloves
2 springs parsley
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper (spice)
onion seasoning
celery salt
Directions:
Cut meat in small pieces and have bones well broken, add cold water; advisable to let stand 1 hour before heating. Prepare vegetables, add with salt and let simmer for 6 or 7 hours. Skim thoroughly.
