Location of The Pier

The Pier
800 2nd Avenue NE.
St. Petersburg, Florida
Voice: 727-821-6164 or 727-821-6443

Perched on smooth, blue Florida waters sits a colorful, inverted pyramid with five stories of specialty shops, a food court, sit down restaurants, and live entertainment and activities. There is definitely enough to keep everyone busy all day and into the night. The Pier is open 365 days a year and a popular destination for those looking for something unique.

The Pier has been a downtown St. Petersburg landmark since 1899. The first Pavilion was started in 1895 , but the most well-known was the Million Dollar Pier which was built in 1926. That structure was razed in 1973 to make way for the modern facility there is today that is able to offer more expanded services and shops.

At The Pier you can enjoy land, air and water-based attraction. Fishermen use lots of area on the approach as well as along the sea walls. If you need you can get a pole and bait at The Pier. Tired of walking? Rent a two- or four-wheel bicycle for riding around The Pier and downtown St. Petersburg. You can even take a sight-seeing boat out into the bay for dolphin watching. The Pier Aquarium offers a variety of informative, hands-on programs for a fun filled time.

And don't forget all the shopping for many specialty items. And when you are hungry, there is food for those on the go and great sit down restaurants for those who wish to sit down and enjoy a great meal. The Pier is truly an experience for all.
