The American Military Museum is located by the IMAX theater at Aquarium Wharf. It is a very impressive collection of military memorabilia. What is unique about this collection is that the items have all been donated by the soldiers or their families. There are many very personal items. The collections range from the current Desert Storm collection all the way back to the Revolutionary War. There are lots of medals, uniforms, and weaponry. Included is also the items of our 'enemies' in each conflict. Some impressive items you will want to see are a five-star cluster from General Eisenhower (his authentic signature is there too) and items from General Patton that were donated by his grandson. The reverence of the POW*MIA empty seat evokes prayer for those still missing. This is a very enjoyable museum to visit.

KAT'S VIEW

The American Military Museum was nice. There was a nice poem for POW's. There were tons of uniforms from several different wars and different times. You go further into time as you walk through the museum.  There were models of the wars too and lots of toy soldiers.
