Magnolia Plantation Gardens
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
The gardens of Magnolia Plantation are a beauty to behold. You can easily spend hours wandering through the beautiful scenery. An area near the long white bridge is a popular place for weddings. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, too. You can see turtles and alligators in the water. Bird watching is a favorite pastime here as well. There are many species for you to spot. The gardens have been planted to offer the best floral display possible during every season. The kids will enjoy getting lost in the Maze. The horticultural maze has been copied from that designed by Henry VIII at his country estate.
The Magnolia Plantation Gardens was a long walk. It was very peaceful though. The flowers smelled like citrus and they were very pretty. The ashes of one of the Drayton owners was inside his favorite tree. The water was crystal clear too. I enjoyed walking through the gardens.
