Now is a great time to discover the wonders of the natural world at Knoxville Zoo. The zoo has more than 800 animals and is internationally renowned for its preservation and breeding programs. Also visit the earth’s largest land mammals at Stokely African Elephant Preserve. Explore the zoo’s other premier natural exhibits – Meerkat Lookout, Black Bear Falls, Chimp Ridge, Gorilla Valley, River Otters and more. 2004 Opening: Knoxville Zoo's newest addition, Kids Cove, is opening in 2004.
