Location of the Museum of South Texas History The Museum of South Texas History The Margaret Memorial Archives is home to thousands of photographs, and historical documents of South Texas. These documents and other materials are available for research by appointment. The Museum is open to the public every day except Mondays and most national holidays. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and 1-5 Sunday. Free Admission from 10-Noon on Saturdays, except for Special Events days such as Medieval Faire, and any other Special Event Saturday. The Museum is located at 121 E. McIntyre, on the Square in Edinburg. Free parking for Museum visitors is available in the new Museum lot on Kuhn Street, one block north of McIntyre. Additional weekend parking is available in the Hidalgo County Court House parking lot. |
