Texas is a huge state and the highways and interstates seem to stretch on forever. Most of the state is somewhat flat but the state has its charms. The color of the landscape will change from area to area but the highways seem to stay the same. It is easy to doze off while traveling across Texas. Remember there are thousands of animals along the side of the road and traffic will seem like it comes from nowhere. The feeder roads will dump traffic right on top of you and if you are not ready they will cause you to wreck.
