Utah Interstate 80 begins at the Nevada border and travels east. As it does it passes Bonneville Salt Flats State Park then crosses the dessert towards Salt Lake. As you get close to Salt Lake you see a sea of white salt.

Then Interstate 80 travels though Salt Lake City and up through the mountains. As you begin your travel though the pass you enter the Uinta National Forest. This part of Utah is very pretty and will make for a great drive.

As you get to Echo you will turn and head through the historic Echo Canyon. This is a passage that brought hundreds of thousands of people to the west. Interstate 80 continues up to the Wyoming border.
