Bennett House Bed and Breakfast
Innkeepers, Jean and Curtis Harrover, welcome you to their fully restored 100 year old home. Their quiet, peaceful setting will make you feel at home. This Victorian Country Inn offers many elegant reminders of a more genteel past. When you arrive in the afternoon you are welcomed with tea or wine and cheese. There are many fine restaurants nearby and dinner reservations can be made for you when you make your room reservations. The parlor and dining room are available for your use. You can also lounge on the porch or relax in the hot tub on the patio.
There are two rooms for you to choose from on your stay. The Queen's Room has a nice four poster bed and large private bath. The Master's Room is larger than the Queen's Room. It has a lovely brass bed, fireplace, and private bath. Both rooms have a television and nice personal touches, including a dish of home baked cookies. You can look forward to a full Virginia Style country breakfast each morning.
The location of Bennett House is great for those exploring the nearby battlefields. You are within an easy drive to seven Civil War sites. There is also horse races, boating, and cycling nearby. The Commuter Rail Station for a trip to Washington Dc is a short walk away. Wherever you choose to explore, your hosts will gladly give you directions to avoid as much traffic as possible to make your adventures more enjoyable.
