Charlottesville is a busy mid-size town on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home of President Thomas Jefferson, who designed the University in town, is located just outside town. Jefferson's architectural influence can be seen throughout the town. The downtown mall is a gathering place for townspeople with a wonderful outdoor walkway down the center of the mall area. Charlottesville has a great small town atmosphere in a mid-size town. |
