The Inn at Afton is located at the top of Afton Mountain where the Skyline Drive meets the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location offers a panoramic view of the valley and ridges beyond. The inn is close to many area attractions such as American Frontier Culture Museum, Woodrow Wilson Library, and P. Buckley Moss Museum on the western side of the mountain. On the eastern side of the mountain there are numerous wineries, Monticello, Michie Tavern, Walton's Mountain Museum, and historic Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.
Relax in the heated swimming pool as you enjoy the scenic vista surrounding you. There are several venues nearby for the outdoor sportsman as well. There are many hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains and creeks and streams to fish in. There are golf courses nearby as well. In the winter, you are near skiing and sledding.
The inn has 118 rooms with either two double beds or a king size bed. They also provide meeting and banquet space for groups from 2 to 200 people. The banquet rooms have walls of windows giving your guests a breath taking view of Rockfish Gap Valley.
Dulaney's Steak and Seafood Restaurant offers fine dining specializing in mouth watering Prime Rib. The menu also includes a variety of seafood, beef, and chicken choices. After dinner come into the lounge to enjoy some spirits and music. They have live entertainment featuring local bands every weekend.
