Location of the Black Horse Inn The Black Horse Inn Voted as one of the best inns in the country, the Black Horse Inn is a beautiful hunt country estate. The original portion of the house was built in the 1850's with additions being done in the 1920's. The current owner, Lynn Pirozzoli, did a full restoration in the early 1990's and opened the bed and breakfast. Located in horse country, you can take in many special events like steeple chasing, polo, and Olympic training. The inn has nine rooms, all with private bath. The very popular honeymoon suite has beautiful romantic furnishings and a two person garden Jacuzzi tub. It also has a large full length mirror for the bride to prepare and there is a large private sun porch. The perfect accommodations for that special day. The Fox and Grape Suite is located in the basement area and has its own private entrance. It has a kitchen and wine rack. The room also has a TV. The beautiful wrought iron bed will give you a comfortable night's sleep. While a part of the main house, this suite provides privacy and seclusion. The rest of the rooms are all elegant, each with a unique decor. Whether you want a hunt theme or a garden motif, the rooms are furnished with period pieces and fine reproductions. The rooms do not have TV's however, there is a TV with VCR and DVD plus a collection of movies for your enjoyment in the Library. Perfect for weddings and corporate retreats, "The Guilded Fox" reception facility here features a climate controlled grand ballroom with seating for up to 200 guests. The Garden Terrace is a picturesque setting for outdoor events. You will make memories to last a lifetime in the beauty of this country estate. |
