Location of Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center Wenatchee Valley Museum Hours: Monday through Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Opened in 1939, the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center showcases local and regional history, featuring a variety of local pioneer and native American items. There's also a fine art gallery, the Pangborn Exhibit paying tribute to the first non-stop airplane crossing of the Pacific Ocean from Japan to Wenatchee, an operating railroad diorama and comprehensive apple industry exhibit. You can also view one of the only working pipe organs in the state, a restored 1919 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. A walk through the museum is a great way to catch a glimpse of Wenatchee's past and learn a little bit about the town's history. On your way out, don't forget to take a look through the gift shop and take home a souvenir. Pictures of Wenatchee Valley Museum were taken by Darryl Franklin |
