Clallam Bay is a seaside village off of Highway 112 and 50 miles west of Port Angeles. The waters of the Clallam Bay and the Strait of Juan De Fuca provide some great fishing, especially for salmon when in season. The area also offers an ideal setting for birdwatching, hiking, scuba diving and beach combing. Keep your eyes to the tree tops and you will be sure to see at least one Bald Eagle. On a clear day, a gorgeous view across the Strait of Juan De Fuca to Vancouver Island can be seen. In addition, Clallam Bay is not very far from Lake Ozette and its ancient Petroglypus as well as the countless recreational opportunities of the Olympic National Park. |
