Grandview gets its name from the view of Mount Rainier and Mount Adams that dominates the western horizon. Located in the eastern edge of Yakima County in central Washington its main economy is based on agriculture. Vineyards, orchards, wheat and dairy along with other crops are abundant and so are the processing and storage of this produce that feeds the world.
The small town atmosphere can be felt through the area. Outdoor activities are popular with fishing, hunting, golf and water sports. Pathways have been dedicated for biking and walking. They also have lots of community park space and a museum.
