Off of Highway 101 is the tiny town of Sequim. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the city that includes a scale model of a working water wheel, six scenic murals, and parks with colorful flowers and foliage. Downtown you will find antique dealers, specialty gift shops, and small-town cafes. If you like history be sure to visit the Museum and Arts Center. They specialize in artifacts from pioneer days and American Indian life and also has mastodon fossils from 12,000 years ago. Come in July to enjoy the annual Lavender Festival and delight in the many flowers grown in the area.
