Location of Agape Mountain Sunshine Bed and Breakfast Inn Agape Mountain Sunshine Bed and Breakfast Inn We invite you to leave the hectic, busy rat race, with cell phones, appointments and deadlines for a time of rest and relaxation in the majestic mountain grandeur of Agape Mountain Sunshine Bed & Breakfast located about 30 miles West of Yakima at mile post 107 on Chinook Pass Highway. A quiet, soothing, balm of time and beauty awaits you that will refresh and restore your mind, soul and body. There is a fire pit in the back yard so guests can enjoy a campfire. You will remember with pleasure the ambiance of warm hospitality, good food, a healing rest, and the beauty of the mountains long after you leave here. Two of the three guestrooms have private decks, and all have access to the big deck which over looks the Nile Valley, the Naches River, and Rattlesnake Canyon. The view from the deck is a breathtaking panorama sweeping from below Eagle Rock down river to the mountains up river that form Chinook Pass. The guest rooms (upstairs) have their own private bathrooms with a jetted tub / shower. As a guest here you have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortably furnished rec room with an enormous stone fireplace, entertainment center, and a Nautilus 3000 elliptical exercise machine. Each guest room has it's own TV and it's own separate full dish program with it's own remote control. All bedrooms, rec room, and living room have 3 speed paddle fans. Each of the guest rooms have a possible two phone line capability (for private phone line and private internet access) to be used by a guest writing or researching and needing to work in a quiet uninterrupted environment. The "Sunrise Room" faces down river towards the Southeast and has double French doors to the big deck and a large window looking out over the back yard and the waterfall. It has a king size traditional solid oak bedroom set and a small antique desk. This is a great room for a morning person who likes to feel the sunshine. The mountain hides the sun till mid-morning most of the year. Double cell shades block out the sun if you don't want to be awakened by the light. The "Rock Garden Room" is in the back of the house overlooking a beautiful rock garden with roses. This room has a queen size solid oak bedroom set and a large desk. This room is very special because it is the room used as a "retreat room" for guests who want or need to stay for several weeks or even perhaps months. This room can be rented by the day for B & B guests or by the week or month by special arrangement. The "Sunset Suite" is on the up-river end of the house and has a private deck looking down the driveway towards the Northwest. This is an unusually beautiful, comfortable suite with it's own living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with a king sized bed and an old wind up "Victrola", a spacious jetted garden tub, separate shower, and a dressing room with sink between the bedroom and the bathroom. The big window in the bedroom looks out over the terraced rock garden to the back yard and the waterfall. There is a wood stove with a glass door in the living room for cozy winter nights. A pair of beveled glass French doors separate the living room from the bedroom. We welcome children and well behaved pets with an extra charge. Parents and pet owners must agree not to leave children or pets here unattended. |
