The KFC on 40th Avenue is one of the Harman franchises co-owned and operated by general manager Les Henn. Les has been running this KFC since it was moved to its present location. Many people come by just to talk about fishing with Les. The "coffee club" comes in every morning to talk about just about anything!

Pete Harman, the franchise owner, opened the very first KFC the 1950's in Utah. He named the Colonel's chicken "Kentucky Fried Chicken" and introduced a picnic in a "bucket." Peoples idea of fried chicken has never been the same since. Just the thought of fried chicken brings to mind Colonel Sanders and family dinners. Do you remember your first KFC experience?
