Location of Cherry Festival Cherry Festival The Annual Cherry Festival held at the Barrett Orchard is a great community event for the whole family. Bring the entire family and pick your own cherries. The best ones are those you eat right off the tree, just be sure to pick enough to make it home! Sign up for the pie eating contest and test your appetite against the other visitors. Get your kids in on the action and have a great time. If pie is not on the menu you can simply have a hot dog and watch the others make a mess out of themselves. Other activities at this free event including cherry tree cutting by George and Martha Washington, various cherry contests, walking tour, hayrides, prizes, arts and crafts. Stop in the gift shop and buy a unique gift for a friend or loved one. If you do not want to pick your cherries, they have plenty on hand for you to take home. Either way you are going to have a Cherry good time. |
