Location of Naches Sportsman's Days Naches Sportsman's Days The Naches Sportsman’s Days has been a tradition since 1948. Each year, this 3-day event attracts around 4,000 people to the town of Naches, west of Yakima. This year’s event kicked off Friday, September 7th and ran through Sunday the 9th. The event was started to celebrate the beginning of the hunting season. Today, it has become more of a family event and caters more to children and teens. Events included a parade, carnival, bingo, fireworks, a silent auction, and a performance by the Naches High School Band. |
