Renowned veteran winemaker Brian Carter launched his new winery and the first five premium releases under the new Brian Carter Cellars label. Brian Carter Cellars will be the first winery in Washington State to focus exclusively on an array of hand-crafted European-style blended wines, showcasing Brian's personal passion for blending wines from Washington State's unique terroir.

They are breaking ground on a new Woodinville winery to open in the fall of 2007. In the interim a tasting room will be opening in Woodinville in May or June of 2006. Wines are currently made at Apex Cellars where Brian Carter is also the winemaker.

This is Washington State's first winery focusing exclusively on an array of European-style blended wines. Wines are: Oriana, a white wine blend containing Roussanne, Viognier and Riesling; Tuttorosso, a Super Tuscan-style blend containing Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah; Byzance, a Southern Rhone-style blend containing Grenache and Syrah; L’Etalon, a Bordeaux blend and Solesce, their signature Bordeaux blend.
