Location of First Colony Winery First Colony Winery First Colony Winery opened in 2002 and has since won over 50 awards in state, national, and international competitions. They grow eight varietals from which they make 12 different wines. Their winemaker comes from the Loire Valley in France and is a fourth generation winemaker. First Colony focuses on producing exceptional world-class wines in the classic European style. The tasting room has cozy sitting areas and a unique gift shop. They are open daily from 11am to 5 pm for tours and tasting. They also offer a variety of indoor and outdoor seating for picnics, group tasting, and private parties. Their large function room has the capacity to accommodate 150 guests. First Colony can host your wedding, corporate meeting, or private party. The winery also hosts cooking classes and other events throughout the year. |
