Location of Alexandria Nicole Cellars Winery Alexandria Nicole Cellars Winery Alexandria Nicole Cellars is dedicated to producing small lots of hand-crafted wine from the Destiny Ridge Estate Vineyard. Their goal is to produce estate vineyard wines that are elegant, approachable, and true to the vineyards terroir. This means a wine that is balanced, having a solid framework of acidity and tannins, full of lush fruit, richness, and opulence of flavors, elegant oak, and a generous finish. They do this by using traditional winemaking methods specialized for each individual wine lot and meticulous attention to the vineyards viticulture practices and management. They are fortunate to have their own vineyard, Destiny Ridge, which allows their winemaker along with mother-nature, complete control of fruit quality from bud to bottle. Their belief, a constant for all great wines around the world, is that quality starts in the vineyard. Through attentive viticulture management, balanced crop levels, gentle hand-harvesting and processing of grapes, and passionate winemaking they produce consistent quality in every glass. Their 220 acre estate vineyard is located on the high bluffs of the Columbia River in an area known as Horse Heaven Hills. It is here, high on the dominate ridge line that their grapes thrive in the soils and climatic conditions of the Columbia Valley. The tasting room is open daily from 11:00 - 5:00 for tasting, Alexandria's own personal chef pairs food bites with wine. The cafe has developed quite a following for Thursday evening music (7:00- 9:00pm) and the weekend dinners seem to be quite a hit. Cafe hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:30-9:00pm. |
