Location of Yellowstone National Park Norris Geyser Basin Yellowstone National Park The Norris Geyser Basin is near the junction between Highways 89 and 212 on the East side of the park. The basin is home to several geysers including Steamboat Geyser, the world's tallest geyser. Although it's major eruptions are infrequent and unpredictable, they can last up to 12 hours and reach heights up to 400 feet. If you happen to be here at the right time, you'll enjoy a spectacular display of nature's raw power. |
