Location of Yellowstone National Park Upper Geyser Basin Yellowstone National Park The Upper Geyser Basin, near the West entrance, is home to several crowd favorites including Castle Geyser and the world's most famous geyser, Old Faithful. Millions of people come each year to witness the splender of one of Old Faithfuls eruptions, which typically happen about every hour and a half and last around 10 minutes. You can stop in at the visitor center and get the estimated time of the next eruption for many of the area's geysers. |
